What does a ‘balanced’ life look like?

In a balanced state you feel like you are on solid ground, and have a good handle on all aspects of your life. You don’t feel like your heart, mind or energy are being pulled in one direction or another. There is a feeling of genuine harmony and inner calm between the competing aspects of your day – inside and out.

A balanced life is highly personal and we each need to discover our own ways of staying balanced.

At the Key we provide massage, yoga and meditation classes and from time to time we also draw on our strong network of health and spiritual practitioners to provide collaborative workshops & retreats, to assist with maintaining a balanced YOU.

We use cruelty free, botanical based wellness products to support your health and wellbeing.

 

Our Studio

Our intimate studio space is surrounded by lush tranquil greenery. From the moment you step inside this natural light filled space, our hope is that you will feel as if you can inhale the peace and exhale the stress and limitations of your world.

This is a place where you come first. A place where vibrations rise so you can experience that beautiful sense of living in the flow.

Hi – I’m Kylie, founder of The Key – a place dedicated to balance.

As wife, mother of two, and a former corporate, I have first hand experience in why taking care of yourself should be your most important priority. Without your health and wellbeing, what’s left?

I believe, what’s often missing is a place to turn to - to access what you need to restore your balance, and one that’s dedicated to ensuring you can achieve it.

After decades exploring my love of yoga, I craved more learning and embarked on extensive Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training. This experience was not only life changing, but it was one that actually felt natural to me – like it was meant to be.

It wasn’t long before I realised that I wanted to share the holistic benefits and healing properties of yoga and natural therapies. There’s a reason Yoga has been around for 1000’s of years – it works.

I draw on many years of experience as a massage therapist, with a background in reiki and meditation and also a passion for energy medicine.  I am grateful for being able to share my knowledge and passion of self-care with the wider community – especially those least suspecting but often most in need.

I am committed to finding the right approach to achieve the best possible outcome for you, going beyond the physical and looking at the big picture, taking into consideration diet, lifestyle, emotional wellbeing and spiritual awareness, helping you to find a happier healthier you, to bring you back to your true self.
