Yoga
More than a fitness modality, yoga is a complete path to physical health, mental clarity and soul connection. As we move through traditional poses harmonized with mindful breathing and simple meditation techniques you will learn to quieten the mind and connect back to your true self.
All aspects of our classes are presented in a way that is easy to follow and understand, through clear and directed verbal and/or visual cues to guide students deeper into physical and mental practice. You can ask questions at any point – and you won’t need a yoga language book.
Together, our yoga practice combined with meditation techniques help you to calm the mind (no app required), strengthen your body and will leave you feeling a greater sense of inner peace, clarity and vitality.
> Flow Yoga: a vinyasa flow style class that synchronises movement and breath in a continuous flow of poses. Designed to stretch, strengthen and build energy while calming, restoring and balancing the body and mind. Suitable for all levels, with variations and modifications offered throughout the class.
> Slow Yoga: perfect for those seeking a balance of movement and stillness. In this practice you will begin by gently moving the body and with the use of props free the body of tension with deep meditative Yin postures. A longer savasana to leave you feeling balanced and deeply relaxed. Suitable for all levels.
> Beginners Yoga Workshop: we explore some of the more traditional poses with a focus on technique & safety and discover the importance of our breath and mindfulness, giving you a great foundation to start your yoga journey both at home and in a class environment.
> Yin Yoga & Sound Healing: this deeply restorative journey combines the meditative postures of Yin Yoga with the therapeutic vibrations of sound healing instruments, creating a unique opportunity for profound relaxation and inner connection. Suitable for all levels.
> Meditation: can include gentle stretch, sound bowls, guided imagery, yoga “nidra” or similar techniques like focusing the mind on a particular object, thought or activity, to achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm state.
Yoga mats, blankets and props are provided.
